Using the Library

Assignment:
For this assignment, you will use the library to search for a number of information resources. At the end of your research, you will turn in a thesis statement and an annotated bibliography with the following resources:
  • 2 books
  • 2 periodicals
  • 1 local newspaper article
Your annotations should include a citation for the book/article plus a 2-3 sentence summary of the information found in the resource.

The variety or resources required for this activity will require you to use the BCC Library Catalog plus several of the library's periodical databases. These databases include EBSCOhost, ProQuest, Ethnic NewsWatch and PubMed. All of these search tools can be found on the Library Media Center website.
