Summary
This activity must be done within the context of some type of research project. Done in stages, students are asked to write their thoughts about their research assignment at different stages during the process.
Purpose
The purpose of this activity is to learn to look at the process of finding information. Finding the right information that meets your needs isn't simple. Planning is an important part of the process. What you are looking for typically changes as you progress through the process. Through this activity, students will be asked to reflect on the process they went through to find information. Awareness of the process of finding information is an important critical thinking skill.
