Bibliography Activity: Variations on a Theme

• Change the citation style for the bibliography. If the bibliography is in MLA style, change it to APA or vice versa.
• After students have identified weaknesses in the bibliography, have them find additional resources to "round out" the bibliography.
• Instead of having students look at a bibliography, have them look at another type of finished product. (For example, students could evaluate a poster presentation or a laboratory write up.) Having students look at a finished product and work backwards will help them be more thoughtful about what they want their finished product to look like.
