Summary
In this activity, students will build a better understanding of citation styles and also evalate a collection of resources by looking at a bibliography. The idea for this activity came from English instructor Margaret Harada.
Purpose
The purpose of this activity is to build familiarity with citation styles and their use. In addition, students will be asked to look at a bibliography and judge how good they think the paper will be. Students will also be required to identify different types of information resources that are represented in the bibliography. The bibliography acts as the foundation of the work; a poorly constructed bibliography likely results in a poor final product.
