The "Quick Limits" feature in the BCC library catalog allows you to make your search more specific. There are three "Quick Limits" options:

To do a search using one of these options, type the term (the author, title, keyword, subject, or journal name) you want to search for in the "Search for:" box.
[If you don't see the "Search for:" box: click on the "Bellevue Community College" link at the top of the catalog screen.]

In the "Search in:" box in the catalog panel, click on the field you want to search in (author, title, keyword, subject, or journal name).

In the "Quick Limits" box, click on one of the three options:

• "None" --
  This is the option that is automatically selected when you do a search.
• "Last 10 Years" --
  Use this option to limit your search to the items published within the previous 10 years.
  [For example, a search for "wizard of oz" in the "Title" field, with the "Quick Limits" of "Last 10 Years" will find one book published in the year 2000.
  How many books do you find if you search without clicking on "Last 10 Years"?]
• "Video Collection" --
  Use this option to limit your search to items in the Media Center video collection.

Click the "Submit Search" button.
