In the "Search for:" box, type the name of the author you want to search for.
[If you don't see the "Search for:" box: click on the "Bellevue Community College" link at the top of the catalog screen.]

In the "Search in:" box click on "Author (e.g. angelou, maya)".

Click the "Submit Search" button.

The next screen displays the results of your search.

Click on the name "Baum, L. Frank" to see the titles available for this author.

Using the scrollbar on the catalog panel, scroll down to the middle of the screen to view your results.

Your search for "baum, l. frank" found 3 titles. The catalog description for each of these titles gives you the information you need to find the item in the library.

Look at the catalog description for Item No. 1. Notice that the description is divided into 6 different categories:

• The author of the book --
  "Baum, L. Frank (Lyman Frank), 1856-1919"
• The title of the book --
  "Annotated Wizard of Oz: the wonderful Wizard of Oz..."
• The publication date of the book --
  "2000"
• The location of the book in the library. This book can be found on the 2nd floor with the circulating books --
  "Library Location: Circulating Books"
• The call number of the book. The call number allows you to find the book on the shelf. For more information on call numbers, click here --
  "Call Number: PS3503.A723W59 2000"
• The status of the book --
  "Status: Available on Shelf"

To see the full catalog description for a book (including publication information, subjects, and any notes about the book), click on the title of the book.
