BC Reads BC Reads!
The Botany of Desire book cover BC Reads! is an activity where interested staff, faculty, students and administrators read the same book. This year, 2005-2006, BC is reading The Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan. This book looks at man and different plants and argues that we have alter plants as much as they have altered human society. Discussed in this book are four plants: the apple, the tulip, marijuana, and the potato.
