BC has subscribed to the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Health Statistics Database. This data base provides statistics on health and health systems across OECD countries. Unlike the other resources we've explored, you won't find articles or narrative information in the OECD database, just raw numbers.

The OECD Health Database describes itself in the following way: "OECD Health Data 2008 offers the most comprehensive source of comparable statistics on health and health care systems in OECD economies. OECD Health Data is a unique, interactive database covering over 1,200 indicators and offering sophisticated query modules. The most recent data are for 2005/2006, with many time series going back as far as 1960."
