Blogs

You may find that you want to cite a blog as a part of your research. Blogs are simply cited as a website. Here's an example from a blog :



I read this essay on the Beyond the Margins blog. You can easily identify the author and the date of this blog posting. The publisher of the site is harder to identify, but on the "About BTM" page it says that the blog is a creation by Grub Street, a writing center in Boston. I've included that information in the citation.

A blog entry with no identified author

Many blogs don't list the author's entire name. If you can't find the author's full name, just omit the name at the beginning of your citation:



Also, for this blog I couldn't find the publisher or sponsor of the site. I put N.p. since I couldn't find the publisher name.
