Another great search tip is using Boolean Operators (sometimes called "connecting terms") to create precise search statements. You can use these in combination with subject headings or with regular keywords. Boolean Connectors show relationships between words and can be a quick and easy way to create a precise search. There are three Boolean Operators:

  • AND
  • OR
  • NOT
