Films

When citing a film as part of your research, include the name producer(s), director(s), year, title of film, format (Motion Picture, DVD, VHS) and the distributor. Here's an example for the film Jurassic Park. Make sure you italicize the title of the film and just like all other APA citations, do not include first names in your citation:



Here's another example for a documentary. There was no producer listed so I started the citation with the director's name:

Films from Films on Demand Database

Bellevue College now subscribes to the Films on Demand database. To cite a video from this database, cite the film as directed above and then add "Available from" and the web address of the database. This is an interior design video about building green:

YouTube Videos

For videos posted to YouTube and similar video hosting websites, include the name of the person posting the video, the date the video was uploaded, the name of the video, and the web address for the video. "Evilvikingdedede" is the only name provided, so that is what you need to use in your citation. Here's an example:
