Summer 2004 – New Course

Race Matters

What is racism? Have you ever experienced racism? Do you feel too much attention is given to this issue in the U.S.? Is racism a natural part of all societies, or is it possible to eradicate racism? If so, what can we do? This class explores racism and identity issues through films, lectures by guest speakers, discussions, hands-on activities, readings, and writing.
