The
World Languages Department at BCC offers courses
in Arabic, ASL, Chinese, French,
German, Italian, Japanese,
and Spanish. The faculty represents
an extensive range of interests and is committed to exellence.
The Department recognizes the need
for World Languages proficiency in today's changing
world. We are dedicated professionals who provide instruction
and guidance to our students, and we are an integral part
of the humanities. Every effort is made to teach students
to think clearly and critically, to make logical and ethical
judgments and to communicate effectively with others, thus
overcoming cultural and language barriers. It is a pleasure
to share with you our passion for other languages and cultures.
