Position Summary

Responsible for teaching on-campus in the studio.; Assessing student learning outcomes and demonstrating a strong commitment to student success and fostering a positive, caring learning environment where diversity and pluralism is valued.

We have two levels of classes we may occasionally have teaching opportunities for:

AA level foundational studios in interior design.

BAA – third-year, junior level studios with an emphasis in one of the following areas:

Residential

Hospitality Design

Workplace

Learning Environments

Healthcare

Retail Design

Sustainable Design


We are also open to specialized topic studios in unique and focused areas of interior design. Please include a course outline and summary of what students may learn if you wish to propose a special topic studio to our Department.
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related design discipline
  • NCIDQ certification or eligible for certification.
  • Be eligible for Washington State professional-technical vocational certification
