Bellevue College encourages use of the World Wide Web as a means for increasing access to college services, information and learning. Web Services supports this effort by providing assistance and guidance in three distinct areas:

• Planning and Production Assistance
  All college offices have the option to develop and host a website representing their program or department. Web Services staff are available to meet with you or with you and your site developer to help plan your site and/or answer questions about the Web development process on campus. If you prefer to work on your own, information about college page standards and site requirements are outlined in the Web Publishing Guide. It is strongly recommended that you meet with Web Services staff to review this information before beginning your project.
  
  
• Review and Approval
  All new and redesigned websites are required to be reviewed by a Web Services staff person before the site will be approved for publishing on the campus Web servers. The review process includes checking for compliancy with page standards, proper use of the college logo, information accessibility and all other college policies and requirements.
  
  
• Set up a website review session by contacting Web Services at webmaster@bellevuecollege.edu or by phoning 425/ 564-2459 or 425/ 564-2487. Bring your website on a flash drive. College websites may not be hosted on commercial sites apart from the college. These are not recognized sites of Bellevue College.
  
  
• College Website Management
  Web Services is responsible for managing the content and page development of the college public website (www.bellevuecollege.edu) and all other official sites of the college including portals and Intranets. Management of these sites includes setting standards for style, college information, college logo usage and technical page accessibility.
