Curriculum Development - Special Projects

The Curriculum Development Specialist assists executive management at the college in special projects including new initiatives, strategic planning and grant-funded research and program assessment. Michèle Royer, Curriculum Development Specialist, reports to the IR Division office. Contact information and a description of services provided to the campus as a whole are listed below.

 

Services Provided

 

Curriculum Development for technology-related programs:

  • Research job, technology, skill trends and training needs in technology industries and careers
  • Develop industry skill standards for technology careers and translate into educational programs
  • Develop, assess and update curriculum for technology degree and training programs

Use of digital and collaborative technologies in Education:

  • Research trends in technology and digital resource applications in education
  • Provide administration for the Elluminate Live! Web conferencing technology for Bellevue College
  • Participate in the BC Distance Learning effectiveness assessment program through data and survey analysis
