STEPS TO ENROLL IN RUNNING START
Spring Quarter 2012

 

Step 1:

Submit Running Start Application

Deadline: Wednesday, January 28th

Students applying on this date will get first choice of classes and receive Running Start information at their assessment session. You will be contacted via email with your BC ID# on or before

Wednesday, February 1st.

 

Step 2:

Take Assessment

The testing fee is $21.50

Take Assessment by: Wednesday, February 22nd

Bring the following items to the test:

  • Picture ID. You will not be allowed to test without it.
  • BC Student ID Number. Emailed to you by the HS Programs staff
  • Bring check or money order in the amount of $21.50

 

Step 3:

Submit Running Start Responsibility Agreement Form

Students placing into English 101 must obtain the above form and submit it to High School Programs Office, B-233, by the deadline:

Wednesday, February 22nd

 

Upon receiving your Agreement form, the pre-registration packet will be mailed out to you that will include the following:

  • An orientation date and time
  • The enrollment verification form
  • Spring 2012 credit class schedule.

 

Step 4:

Complete Running Start Enrollment Verification Form 

 

  • Be sure that the course load between Bellevue College and your High School don’t exceed the course load limit.
  • Carefully read, complete, and sign the form with all participating parties (student, HS counselor, parent/guardian, and Running Start Coordinator).
  • Bring your Enrollment Verification Form to Mandatory Running Start New Student Orientation

 

Step 5:

Attend Mandatory New Student Orientation

 

Orientation will occur on:
Saturday, March 10th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

 

Note: Please don’t forget to bring your Enrollment Verification Form. Without it you won’t be able to register for classes

 

Registration for all classes will occur on:
Saturday, March 10th at 4:00 PM (PST)
