Registering for a Running Start Assessment |
- Winter Quarter 2010: between October 20– 21
- Spring Quarter 2010: between January 19 – 20
- Key in your assigned BC Student ID number
- Key in your 6 digit PIN (This is usually assigned as your birth date. Use zero in front of one digit numbers. Example: if your birth date is June 6, 1991 your PIN is 060691). If it does not work with the zero in front, try it without. The system does not recognize leading zeroes. You may change your PIN at any time.
- Select the academic quarter for which you are testing.
- Click on Register
- Click on Next at the top right hand corner to continue
- Choose your assessment session:

- The boxes below lists the item numbers for the different assessment sessions.
- On the Schedule screen, enter the item number of the Running Start assessment session under Add/Drop
- Click on Submit; your assessment selection will appear in the Schedule box
- Click on Next
- Click on Finish

- Print out a copy of your scheduled assessment session:
- Mark the time and date on the calendar. You will not get a reminder.
- You may pay the $19.70 online; however, you MUST print the receipt and bring it to the assessment office in B132 the day of your test.
- IF you do not pay online, you MUST bring a check or money order payable to BCC for $19.70 with your name and Student ID Number written on it. You need to pay at the Cashier’s office in B125 and take the receipt to the Assessment Office in B132.
- Bring your picture ID. You will not be allowed to test without it.
- Bring your assigned Student ID Number.
- Arrive at least 20 minutes early for your assessment session so you will have time to pay prior to the test. If you come late you will forfeit your seat.
