Accreditation & Approval

  • Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
    The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) is responsible for the specialized accreditation of nursing education schools and programs, both post-secondary and higher degree.  The Commission has authority and accountability for carrying out the responsibilities inherent in the application of standards and criteria, accreditation processes, and the affairs, management, policy making, and general administration of the NLNAC.  NLNAC is a nationally recognized specialized accrediting agency for all types of nursing programs.
  • Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission
    Find information regarding health care providers, regulations for professional practice and contact information. The Department of Health works to protect and improve the health of people in Washington State.

  • King County Library System (Medical Databases)
    KCLS databases are collections of reputable information resources - newspaper & magazine articles, reference book content (i.e. Encyclopedia Britannica, Grove Encyclopedia of Art), even full-text books.
  • U.W. Bothell RN to BSN Program
    The program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, as part of the University of Washington School of Nursing, and awards a University of Washington degree. Bellevue College Nursing Program has an articulation program with UW Bothell Nursing Program and students can transfer to their BSN Program after successfully completing our program and passing NCLEX-RN.

Professional Organizations

  • National Student Nurses' Association
    The NSNA Mission is to: organize, represent and mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses, as well as those enrolled in baccalaureate completion programs; convey the standards and ethics of the nursing profession; promote development of the skills that students will need as responsible and accountable members of the nursing profession; advocate for high quality health care; advocate for and contribute to advances in nursing education; and develop nursing students who are prepared to lead the profession in the future.

    The King County Nurses Association (KCNA) is a professional organization of registered nurses, promoting healthy communities since 1903 through education, advocacy, and outreach.

    A skills-learning lab designed just for nursing students.
  • Services and Resources
    BC provides a variety of resources for students, employees and community members. You'll find detailed information about student services offices, computing labs and the college bookstore.
  • Library Media Center
    The primary purpose of the Library Media Center (LMC) is to encourage learning by Bellevue College students, to support the evolving education programs of the college, and to support the mission and goals of the college.

  • Career Advising
    The Career Center is open to all career and job seekers. You do not have to be registered for classes to use our services.
  • Women's Center and Student Access Center
    The primary mission and goal of The Women's Center is to assist students and members of the community, both men and women, in reaching their academic and career goals.
  • Writing Lab
    The purpose of the Writing Lab is to give students a single place where they can go for help with any writing assignment or project, whether it's for a science class, an English class, or an art class, or for personal needs such as college application essays. In addition, students may use the lab as a study space or reference center; we have free materials that students may have to keep as references, and English handbooks for student use in the lab. Tutors are available at all times to answer quick questions as well.
