Degree Concentrations

Designed for the working professional, this career-oriented program offers four different concentrations:

Management & Technology Concentrations- these concentrations are open to individuals with certification in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, Diagnostic Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine.

Radiation and Imaging Management (RAIM)

The Radiation and Imaging Management (RAIM) concentration is designed for students who wish to lead radiation and imaging departments and clinics.

Radiation and Imaging Technology (RAIT)

The Radiation and Imaging Technology (RAIT) concentration is designed for students seeking advanced technical expertise leading to additional certification.

Specialized Concentrations- these concentrations have more specific entry requirements.

Medical Dosimetry

The Medical Dosimetry concentration is designed for radiation therapists who want to specialize in the planning of optimal radiation treatment techniques and dose calculations in collaboration with the medical physicist and radiation oncologist.

Radiologist Assistant

The radiologist assistant concentration is an advanced-practice role for a registered radiographer (ARRT certified) who wants to perform radiographic patient assessment and complex or invasive imaging procedures under the direction of a radiologist (M.D.)

Nuclear Medicine

The nuclear medicine concentrations is designed for nuclear medicine technologists who wish to advance their nuclear medicine knowledge and skills, learn CT & MRI, and prepare themselves for leadership positions.
