Our focus is to offer entry- and intermediate-level healthcare career options and to provide a stepping stone into other healthcare professions. Our goal is to provide quality programs that give the necessary skills and knowledge to provide quality care for diverse patient populations.

Clinical Lab Assistant (CLA)

Clinical lab assistants perform the basic functions of laboratory work under the supervision of other lab professionals. Read more…

Emergency Department Technician (EDT)

An Emergency Department Technician assesses and manages a wide range of emergency conditions including respiratory, genitor-urinary, and cardiac emergencies. They also assist in wound care and the application of orthopedic splinting devices. Also necessary is familiarization with specialized medical equipment and the ability to communicate effectively with other medical personnel, the patient, and the patient's family in emergency situations. Emergency Department Technician Professional (EDTPro)

An Emergency Department Technician assesses and manages a wide range of emergency conditions including respiratory, genitor-urinary, and cardiac emergencies. Also necessary is familiarization with specialized medical equipment and the ability to communicate effectively with other medical personnel, the patient, and the patient's family in emergency situations.

This "professional" version of the Emergency Department Technician certificate is only open to EMT's and board certified CNA's (with a minimum of 1 year work experience in the field). Read more . . .
