Academic Options

Certificate of Achievement

Our certificate program provides the knowledge, skills and training required for counseling in the field of chemical dependency treatment. The program is designed for students that are completing state-defined requirements to become a chemical dependency professional (CDP), probation assessment officers (PAO), alcohol/drug information (ADIS) instructor and substance abuse prevention specialist (SAPS) certifications. The program provides students and members of the Bellevue community information about chemical dependency and addiction treatment.

Note: Students completing the Certificate of Achievement at Bellevue College will be eligible to sit for the CDP Certification exam regardless of whether or not they have completed all of their CDPT training hours.

For more information, contact Paul Weatherly MA-CDP, program director and advisor, 425-564-2012.
