Bulldogs Women's Tennis wins 4th consecutive championship
Chapman named Coach of the Year
BCC Bulldogs Women's Tennis won their fourth consecutive NWAACC Championship over the weekend, pushing their undefeated
streak to four years. And for the second year in a row, BCC's Jason Chapman was selected NWAACC Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year.
Thirty-five Washington and Oregon community colleges compete in the NWAACC (Northwest Athletics Association of Community Colleges)
league.
In the seven-college NWAACC Northern Region for Women’s Softball, Bulldog Erica Addison (shortstop) was named
Most Valuable Player for 2008, while BCC Coach Leah Francis was named regional Softball Coach of the Year.
Six Bulldog Women’s Softball players made the 2008 Northern Regional All-Star first team:

Online Computer Networking Instructor Mike Littlefield was featured prominently in this
front-page photo from a recent edition of the
Gilmer (Tex.) Mirror. Mike has been working as a volunteer with two Texas fire departments: Simpsonville and Harmony. With mutual aid
agreements, the total coverage area between the two departments is 250 square miles. Mike is the Certification and Training Coordinator for the Simpsonville FD and was also
the purchasing agent for the truck shown in the picture. |
