The BC Foundation luncheon is the biggest fundraising event of the year. Not only does it increase awareness of Bellevue College and the educational opportunities it offers our community, but it raises vital funds for the Foundation to support quality education and learning opportunities for all BC students.

Date: Wednesday, April 25, 2012
Time: Doors open at 11:30 am and the program is from 12:00-1:30 pm
Where: Meydenbauer Center in downtown Bellevue (11100 NE 6th St, Bellevue)
Parking: Parking in the Meydenbauer Center Garage (circle A) is free during the BC Foundation luncheon

As a co-anchor on KOMO 4 News with Eric Johnson, Molly has become a familiar face in reporting the news in Washington State. The BC Foundation is proud to announce that she will emcee the Become Exceptional Luncheon on April 25th! She also served as luncheon emcee in 2009.
Bill Kent, BC Foundation President
Having served on the Board of Directors since 2008, Bill Kent has been a staunch supporter both personally and professionally, of the Bellevue College Foundation. In fact, as a Constructive Executive with M.A. Moretenson Company, he managed construction on the BC campus of three buildings including the Science and Technology building that opened in 2009! As President of the BC Foundation Board of Directors, Bill is committed to continuing the excellent support of students and educational programs at the College.

Student Speaker
A BC Foundation scholarship recipient will talk about how their scholarship has made a difference in their life.
Ronan Farrow currently serves as a Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Global Youth Issues and to the Director of the State Department’s Global Youth Issues office. He has served as a UNICEF Spokesperson for Youth in Nigeria, Angola and Sudan. Ronan has also been a public advocate for the protection of Darfur refugees.Ronan is the son of actress Mia Farrow and film director Woody Allen. A child prodigy, he started at Bard College at the age of 11 and graduated from Yale Law School at 21.

Signing up to be a table captain is a great way to get more involved and make an even bigger impact on the BC campus! Your goal as a table captain is to recruit 9 people (in addition to yourself) to sit at your table. Each guest is encouraged to make a contribution of $200 or more. But don't worry, you won't be alone in this endeavor! Foundation staff will provide you with resources to help you recruit guests. If you are interested or want to learn more, please contact the Foundation.
