Study Abroad |

Students who
desire to study abroad are eligible to receive financial aid to assist
in paying for these classes provided the study abroad classes meet your
degree requirements and the courses earn college level credits.
BCC’s Financial Aid office may request that you provide an educational plan to confirm that these courses are needed for your program of study. I. Student Loans Student loans are available for study abroad.II. Cost of Attendance for Study Abroad You may want to provide BCC’s financial aid office with information about the costs for this program. We can include your actual costs for this program which may possibly allow us to give you more funding than you otherwise receive. You will need to submit a Revision Request form to our office along with documentation showing your actual costs.III. Attendance Verification Students studying abroad must still provide Attendance Verification in order to receive their funds. However, if you are leaving the country before the quarter actually starts, we may release your funds to you a maximum of 10 days before the start of the quarter.Please notify this office if you will need your funding before the first day of the quarter. The aid office will need additional time to process an unusual request such as this. IV.
