Educational Planning

A thoughtful planning of your educational coursework is highly recommended. By planning your coursework carefully you will achieve your academic goals more quickly and with greater success. Additionally by planning your coursework, you could plan so that any admission requirements to a four year institution are covered by your financial aid.

It is unfortunate that after completing the coursework for a degree, many students are dismayed when they discover their financial aid will not cover courses which are admission requirements into the university of their choice.

Plan wisely and take your four-year admission requirements as your elective coursework in your BCC degree.

I. Assessment

For students who have never attended an institution of higher education, we recommend prior to your first quarter of attendance you take an Assessment test. New students must take an Assessment test before they can enroll in Math or English courses.
