TEAS Testing

If you plan to apply for admission to the Associate Degree Nursing program, you are required to complete the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). The TEAS is designed to determine the academic readiness of applicants and contains four subtests in Math, Science, English and Reading. TEAS must be completed within one year of application and cannot be taken more than two times in any one year.

Attention

Because nursing admission applications have been closed, no testing is currently available. Testing will resume Fall 2009.

Pre-registration is required with a fee of $43.75. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Registration and fee must be submitted two days prior to the test to secure your seat.

What happens if there is bad weather on test day?

Check this website for test cancellations. If the college campus is closed or if the test center is unable to open on test day due to severe weather, a makeup test may be scheduled. You will be notified by email about a rescheduled test date. If conditions are dangerous, do not attempt to travel to the test center.

If the test center stays open and the test is given, but you are unable to reach the test center because of severe weather, email us at assessment@bellevuecollege.edu during the week after the test date for your options.

You may also check this website to find your rescheduled test date or call Assessment Office at 425-564-2243.

If you are unable to attend the scheduled makeup date, you may reschedule for a future TEAS test date at no additional charge. To do so:

    1. Select another test date from the testing schedule listed on this website.
    2. Send an email to assessment@bellevuecollege.edu.
    3. Identify yourself as having been registered to test on the test date that is cancelled, and indicate the alternate test date you select from our testing schedule.
