Bellevue College-Washington State University (WSU) Bachelor's Degree Co-Admission Program

Bellevue College and Washington State University’s Distance Degree Programs (DDP) have teamed up to offer co-admission. You’re already receiving a great education at Bellevue College. Continue the tradition of excellence at Washington State University—online.

How does co-admission work?

Bellevue College students may apply for co-admission to WSU DDP and are guaranteed acceptance to WSU DDP providing they complete their associate’s degree within 16 consecutive quarters and graduate with at least a 2.0 grade point average. * During your final quarter at Bellevue College you will need to apply for admission to WSU DDP and have your final transcript evaluated to ensure you have met the requirements. * These admission requirements are guaranteed even if WSU raises its admission standards after you apply for co-admission.

What is DDP?

Distance Degree Programs (DDP) is the unit of WSU that offers bachelor degree completion programs, master’s degrees and certificates through online courses that can be accessed 24/7 from the Internet.

Who should apply for co-admission?

  • You’ll receive invitations to WSU events in your area and will be included in communications to current DDP students to keep you up to date on new degree offerings and program changes.
  • On occasion, DDP representatives and academic advisors will visit Bellevue College and meet with co-admission students to answer questions and provide counseling.

What sets WSU DDP apart from other online degree programs?

WSU DDP is a pioneer in distance education as one of the first traditional universities in the nation to offer online degrees. Since 1992, DDP has been delivering courses, developed by the same WSU instructors who teach on campus, using dynamic content like interactive media that reinforces learning concepts. Besides a world-class education, DDP students can expect: • Unparalleled student support services: career counseling, e-tutoring, financial aid counseling, peer and alumni mentoring, 24/7 tech support, and personal academic advising. • An active online student government that provides leadership and engagement opportunities, scholarships, and social and academic events hosted around the state. Ask any WSU alumni and they’ll tell you there’s something special about being a Coug. As a DDP student you’ll experience the same Cougar connection as WSU students attending the main campus in Pullman or one of the regional campuses. And when you graduate, your degree and diploma will be identical to those received on campus.
