Online Degrees & Certificates at Bellevue College

You can earn a degree or certificate completely online. This option may work well if you need to fit classes in between work or home commitments, or you don't live near the Bellevue College campus. This page describes your options for completing, entirely at a distance, the following BC degree and certificate programs:

Associate Degrees

Bellevue College offers seven associate degrees. Of these, the three we list below can be pursued entirely at a distance:

Associate Degrees, Direct Transfer

Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) degrees are generally transferable to participating 4-year universities. The following two AAS-DTA degrees offered at BC can be completed entirely at a distance.

Associate Degrees, Not Transferable

Online Bachelor Degrees

BAS in Healthcare Technology & Management

Bellevue College now offers a BAS in Healthcare Technology & Management. For more information please visit the website at http://bellevuecollege.edu/health/hctm/

 

You can complete a bachelor's degree online through BC's educational partnerships.

Partnership with Capella University

Bellevue College and Capella University have an articulation agreement in place, which means Capella will honor BC’s transfer programs, and, if appropriate, up to the equivalent of 90 quarter credits (60 semester credits) may be applied towards your Capella bachelor’s degree.  View the Capella University website at http://capella.edu/bellevue for more information about the following bachelor degree programs.

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management
  • Bachelor of Science in Health Care
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Partnership with Washington State University Online

Bellevue College and Washington State University Online offer a joint Online Associate in Arts (AA/AAS) Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Business Administration and Arts and Sciences. Business Administration:

For a B.A. degree in Business Admniistration, you must first complete a BC Associate in Business (AB) Transfer Agreement for Business Students (AAS-DTA) degree and then apply to the Washington State University Online Degree Program for one of the following majors.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration: Accounting (Major)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration: Management Information Systems (Major)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration: Management and Operations (Major)

Arts & Sciences:

For the following Bachelor of Arts majors, you must first complete a BC Associate In Arts (AAS) Degree (Transfer Agreement) and then apply to the Washington State University Online Degree Program.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice
  • Bachelor of Arts in Humanities
  • Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences
  • Bachelor of Arts in Human Development (Family Support Studies)

 

Partnership with Western Governor's University

Bellevue College and Western Governor’s University have an articulation agreement in place, which means WGU will honor BC’s transfer programs, and, if appropriate, up to the equivalent of 90 quarter credits (60 semester credits) may be transferred and applied towards your WGU bachelor’s degree.  For more information, view the WGU Washington website at http://washington.wgu.edu/

  • Bachelor of Arts from WGU Teachers College
  • Bachelor of Arts from the College of Business, including Management, Information Technology Management, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Marketing Management, and Sales and Sales Management
  • Bachelor of Arts from the College of Information Technology including Information Technology and Health Informatics
