COURSE DESCRIPTION: Applies computer software
solutions to specific accounting problems. Topics include accounts receivable,
accounts payable, payroll, ledgers, checkbooks, inventory, and financial
statements.
COURSE LEARNING Objectives: Upon
completion of this course, students will have achieved the Chapter Learning
Objectives.
COURSE TOPICS: This course will cover
the accounting principles in a computerized format, including banking,
customers and sales, vendors, purchases and inventory, payroll, reports and
graphs, and creating new company financial records.
COURSE CALENDAR: Most tests will be scheduled on Thursdays
or Fridays. Students may take the timed tests at any time during a 24-hour
period. (I sometimes will give you 2 or 3 days in which to take the test, but
you only have one try.) Check the course
calendar for the exact dates.
