Will this be your first online course? Haven't a clue what it's all about? Take the Online Learning Workshop. It's free and quick -- and you log in at home on your personal computer.
WHAT IS IT ?
A free, two-day, non-credit, workshop that will introduce you to Bellevue College's online course management system, called Blackboard VISTA, and to the kinds of online learning activities your instructors are likely to use. You'll participate in an online discussion led by a Bellevue College instructor, and you'll have the opportunity to explore a sample online English 101, Geography and Chemistry course.
WHEN IS IT ?
The Summer Quarter 2012 workshop will be held Friday, June 22, through Saturday, June 23, enabling you to become comfortable with online learning before the quarter begins. Deadline for registration in this workshop is Wednesday, June 21.
HOW DO I GET STARTED ?
It's easy to register yourself for one of the workshops.
1. Go to http://bellevuecollege.edu/enrollment/registration/register/StudentIntent.aspx
2. Log in using your BC SID and password
3. Type in one of the following registration codes (also called an "item number")
For a Friday-Saturday, June 22 & 23 workshop: enter Item F992, F993 or F994

or come to Room A140 on the Bellevue College campus. Of course,
you can always e-mail us too! Please include your BC student number so we can register you in the workshop of your choice.
