Set Up Your Computer for Blackboard VISTA


The Browser Check:

As part of the log-in process, Blackboard VISTA provides a browser check to help you make sure your computer is configured correctly. You may run VISTA’s browser check at any time, even before your course begins. The browser check is available on the VISTA log-in page.

Steps:

  1. Enter the following URL in your Web browser address line or click the link (clicking this link will open a new window): http://vista.bellevuecollege.edu. The Blackboard VISTA log-in page will open in a new window.

  2. Click on the "Check Browser" button on the Blackboard log on page.

  3. Once your results are returned, look for any red “X”s. These indicate potential problems with your browser configuration.

    To correct these problems, go to (clicking this link will open a new window) http://bellevuecollege.edu/frc/cds/browserhelp_2009/ and follow the instructions under "Browser Check Results" or scroll down and follow the information provided by Blackboard.
