Blackboard VISTA Winter 2012 On-Campus Workshops
for Students
Need help getting started online? Blackboard VISTA On-Campus Workshops for students are available during the first week of each quarter.
What Does The Workshop Cover?
Blackboard VISTA workshops give you a hands-on version of the same materials covered in the Vista Tutorial, located online at http://bellevuecollege.edu/distance/studentguide/. These workshops are restricted to questions about Blackboard Vista, covering how to:
- configure your browser for optimum Vista access,
- log in to your course site,
- access course materials
- participate in interactive features of your course.
Workshop instructors cannot address questions about other computer software or hardware issues that you may need to resolve in order to succeed in your online course.
What Do I Need to Do Before Attending the Workshop?
Your MyBC student portal must be fully set up to allow you use of the campus computers and network access. It can take up to 24 hours to populate your site, but you can create this login any time via the web by going to www.mybcc.net/createAccount.asp. The Open Computer Lab in N-250 will open on the first day of the quarter for those students who want/need someone to assist them in getting their MyBC student login set up.
