What's New?

9/15/98

The search function appears to be working correctly, but if you have problems with it feel free to e-mail me at sangreal@nwlink.com . We will be publicizing the website soon so that a wider audience may use and enjoy it.

A new photo gallery has been started. I am hoping to add more pictures later on, and I feel that the ones that I have chosen for now are representative of early-day Kirkland. I'm still trying to find a map to place on the site, but it appears I may have to create one from scratch, due to copyrights placed on existing maps. Egad. If anyone knows of a map depicting Kirkland and the surrounding area that we can use, please contact me, as cartography isn't one of my strong points.

Kinks are being ironed out of the search function and results page. For those few who are aware of this website (which will be publicized in greater force once we place a tracker on it and add it to the major search engines) I'm glad that you have been able to get good use out of it while it is still being worked on. I'm pleased to hear that some of you found new information about family members who lived in Kirkland.

Hello and welcome. Please feel free to look around. Since this website is brand new, accept my apologies while we smooth out the rough edges. If you have any difficulty navigating the site, or if your browser is not displaying the pages properly, please let me know.

Very soon, I will be adding more to website. I feel that a map of Kirkland is essential, and am in the process of finding/creating one with enough detail that downloads quickly. Also, I'm working on scans of historic Kirkland photos and hope to have a small gallery of images that are representative of Kirkland's past. There will be other additions in the future, but for right now graphics and the search page are the main focus.

Any suggestions for changes or future additions? Feel free to send me E-mail
