Classes

Flexible Options

Think you don’t have time to take classes? We know you’re busy, so we have created flexible options that allow you to fit classes into your schedule and work around home or job commitments.

Distance Education

Credit Classes at North Campus

You may find that our North Campus, located near the intersection of I-405 and SR-520, may be a more convenient place for you to take college credit courses. North Campus is 7 miles from the main campus, close to Kirkland and downtown Bellevue.

Evening Classes

Don’t quit your day job—you can earn credit in the evening at Bellevue College. We offer numerous classes in the evening between 5:30 – 10 p.m. (Monday – Thursday).

Hybrid Classes

Take credit classes that meet one-to-three days a week and the rest is online at a time convenient to you.

Late-Start Classes

Earn credit in a shorter amount of time than a standard credit class. Some popular credit classes are offered in a more intense seven-week “Late-start” format. These classes conclude the same week as regular 10-week credit courses.

Once-a-Week Classes

We offer afternoon and evening classes that meet on campus once a week.  These classes often have an online component in the evening, and the rest of the work is done either on-line or at your convenience. You get the best of both worlds: the classroom interaction and the flexibility of working on your own.

Trip Reduction Classes

Students told us they want to reduce trips to campus to save time, and to help reduce their carbon footprint. Starting fall 2009 quarter, students can develop schedules to do just that with our coordinated 2-day and 4-day schedule time blocks.
