ENDT 106 Applied Evoked Potential • 4 Cr.

Description:

Introduction to the fundamentals of evoked potential, including sensory pathways, digital instrumentation, obligate wave forms, and technical reporting.

Outcomes:

After completing this class, students should be able to:

1. Identify evoked potential sensory pathways and cranial nerves associated with the pathways 2. Evaluate abnormal vs. normal evoked potential waveforms 3. Evaluate the use of digital instrumentation for evoked potential 4. Apply electrodes appropriately according to modality 5. Record evoked potential according to ACNS guidelines 6. Plot appropriate waveforms including latencies and amplitudes of the waveforms 7. Remove electrodes from patient, clean, and set-up room for next patient
