Description:

Covers the acquisition, recording, processing, mixing, and distribution of digital audio for media applications. Students get hands-on practice working in multimedia, web, and digital video environments. Format includes readings, lectures, demonstrations, and audio-related projects in various digital media. Prerequisite: DMA 108, DMA 152, and DMA 160 at BC with a C- or better, or entry code. DMA 253 replaces VIDEO 213. Either DMA 253 or VIDEO 213 may be taken for credit, but not both.
