Bellevue College Community Education: Inspiring Curiosity, Creativity, and Lifelong Learning
Connect, enjoy, and grow with a community of adult learners as you explore, passions, hobbies, and interests to enrich your life. Each quarter we offer a wide selection of noncredit Personal Enrichment, Language, and 55+ TELOS Lifelong Learners classes. Online and in-person classes are offered. Classes are not eligible for academic credit, and you don’t need to apply or go through any admission steps.
Whether it’s gaining insights to transform your personal life, connecting and building friendships with others with similar passions, learning a new language, or having fun discovering something new that brings you joy, Community Education has a class for that.

Personal Enrichment Classes: Fun ways for adult learners to connect with others in-person or online, make new friends, and explore art and design interests, hobbies, languages, and topics, to enrich your life. Course topics change, but generally you’ll find a mix of topics covering: Creative Arts, Culinary Arts, Digital Skills, Health and Wellness, Music and Performing Arts, Personal Interest and Language. Classes are not eligible for academic credit, and you don’t need to apply or go through any admission steps to join.
55+ TELOS Lifelong Learners Classes: We say this is “Where Experience Meets Exploration.” Since 1976, adults ages 55 and older—including those who are retired or semi‑retired—are invited to join our vibrant community of 55+ learners. This welcoming program is designed to help you make meaningful connections, build new friendships, and explore a variety of engaging topics in a relaxed, no‑pressure setting. There are no tests, no grades, and no application or admission process required—just enjoy learning for the joy of it. Classes change regularly but you’ll find a good mix of Art and Literature, Health and Well-Being, History and Current Events, Psychology and Philosophy, Science and Technology, and Writing and Research classes to choose from each quarter.
Language Classes: Bellevue College Community Education offers one of the most comprehensive, noncredit selections of language classes in Washington state. Whether you are a traveler or have a personal or business interest you will find out courses to be affordable and accommodating. Language classes usually include Chinese (Mandarin), French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
