Academic Internship Experience – EXPRL 191, 192, 193 (2-5 credits)


Internships are a great way to help you gain real-world experience, build your resume, explore a career, and do some professional networking. Resume and Interviewing Strategies – EXPRL 220 (2 credits)


Learn to create a winning resume and represent your best talents in interview situations. Guest speakers from local companies will tell you what they really want to see on resumes and hear about in job interviews. Class will include practice interviews with company representatives. Register online or in-person at the Registration desk on the 1st floor of the "B" Building (Student Services).

Job Shadowing & Professional Networking – EXPRL 230 (2 credits)


The Center for Career Connections will connect students with local business and community leaders in the student’s field of interest for the purpose of researching a job through networking. Students will interview professionals, develop their communication skills, and identify their own strongest attributes with a focus on future employment. Register online or in-person at the Registration desk on the 1st floor of the "B" Building (Student Services).

Career & Life Planning (Non-Credit)


This class will launch you onto the path to success! You will identify your interests and transferable skills, find career options that fit your skills and experience, get the latest information on re-training, and learn job-search strategies to help you land the right position. Workshops

Workshops are free, non-credit informational sessions that provide you with a variety of career-related skills and information. They introduce you to the services offered by Center for Career Connections and can be a good first-step or refresher. Workshops are presented by a professional Career Specialist and are usually 1-2 hours in length. They are free, but registration is required. Please call (425) 564-2279 for current workshop dates and times and to register.

NEW! - Creating an Effective Resume (1 hour workshop)


Join us for a presentation and discussion about creating an effective resume. Open to students and alumni. No registration is needed – just show up to Room L100-D (L Building). Call (425) 564-2279 for the Fall quarter schedule.


Interview Practice Sessions(1 hour workshop)


Sign up for a one-hour practice interview with a representative from a local company. This is an excellent way to experience a realistic interview and receive feedback – without the pressure. Each interview includes a set of practice questions and tips. In order to participate, you will need to email your resume one week prior to your practice interview to jfoster@bellevuecollege.edu. You may not participate unless you have submitted a resume.
Prerequisite: Must be a student taking credit classes
