Mentor a Student Intern
The Academic Internship Program offers course credit to students who complete an internship. We pair each student intern with a Bellevue College Faculty Mentor. Faculty Mentors play a crucial role in the success of an intern. They can help students connect their internship experience to academic and theoretical learning, answer industry-specific questions, give feedback on internship assignments, and provide professional advice on career-related issues.
The overall time commitment of a Faculty Mentor is approximately two hours. We offer mentors a small stipend to compensate them for their time. Please view the Academic Internship Program web site and our Guide to Mentoring for more information.
