BCC alumni from UW BS Seattle and UW BS Bothell returned for a pizza party with students. They talked about the admissions process and life at the UW.
Business Leadership Club also announced the Fall Fundraiser for Charity – Unitus microfinancing. Student obtained donations from Costco, Apple, Valve Software, the EMP and Sci-Fi Museum, and Grazie’s restaurant.
Dave Richards, from the Unitus Board of Directors, discussed Unitus’ role as a microfinance accelerator. He shared how lives can be changed through tiny loans of $50-$200.
Students work in cafeteria and by word of mouth, selling tickets.

Business Leadership Club and International Students meet for social to discuss differences in education, careers, lifestyle in each others’ countries.
The week was filled with activities: speakers, panels, exhibitors, resume advising on internships, etc.
The Business Leadership Club sponsored Peace Trees, a non-profit which helps locals in Viet Nam start business.
The Club also gave a “Dress for Success” fashion show.
