Course Planning Suggestions

  1. Take English and math courses first to hone writing and quantitative skills for Humanities and Social Science courses
  2. Take math courses in consecutive quarters
  3. Take business requirements after 30 credits are completed
    • Grades in business courses are particularly important for admission to a business school
  4. ECON& 201 (micro) should be taken before ECON& 202(macro)
  5. Take ACCT& 201, 202, 203 in three consecutive quarters

If you don't assess into ENG& 101 and/or Math 138, you may have to take other courses before you start this suggested sequence. Be aware that if you have any questions about your assessment in English and Math you have to contact the English Program at 425-564-2341 or the Math Program at 425-564-2321.
