Richard Bratz
Rich Bratz

Rich is full-time faculty teaching accounting. As a certified public accountant (CPA), he has directed controllership, treasury and accounting information systems for corporate subsidiaries in transportation, industrial land development and public utility industries. Rich has also managed consolidated financial reporting and control, administration of employee benefits, temporary cash investments, insurance and risk management, stockholder relations of an investment company and was the controller of a homebuilder company. He received his MBA from Cal State.

Kimberly Breland
Kim Breland

Kim has more than 20 years experience in finance and accounting, including being a financial manager at Sound Transit and the Washington State Ferries where she had responsibility for over $100 million in revenues and a staff of 14. Kim has overseen GAAP compliance, financial reporting and the dissemination of technical information to state agencies including the State Treasurer, Office of Financial Management and State Auditor. She has a bachelors in accounting from Seattle University.

Winnie Li
Winnie Li

Xiao (Winnie) Li was a teaching and research assistant in Statistics at California State University at Hayward. She was one of three students out of 230 who won the 2005 George J. Resnikoff Memorial Scholarship. She also won the best TA of the year award in 2001. She has a MS in Statistics from CSU Hayward and a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from UC Davis.

She has worked as a financial analyst for Clearwire and Microsoft using large databases to do financial modeling.

Leslie Lum
Leslie Lum

Leslie is full-time faculty teaching statistics, investing, and introduction to business. She has taught at the UW Business School-Seattle, will teach in the MBA program at UW Bothell, and sits on the UW Business and Economic Development Program. Leslie authored Personal Investing published by South-Western in 2002 and coauthored Marketing and Managing in a Multicultural Environment with Thad Spratlen and Michael Verchot of the University of Washington. She is currently writing a set of curriculum to teach the people of Washington state about financial education.

Leslie has extensive industry experience including strategic planning at a Fortune 100 now part of Citigroup, investment banking with the global bank HSBC, and general management of a retail start-up. She has a MBA from Columbia University.

Judith Paquette
Judith Paquette

Judith is full-time faculty with over ten years of accounting industry experience at Motorola, PACCAR, Western Wireless and Gottschalks. Her industry accounting responsibilities included general and cost accounting, audit, payroll, systems selection and development, department reengineering, TQM, financial planning and training.

Judith has a MBA from Golden Gate University and a BS California State University. She holds the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation and is active in accountant and teaching organizations. Judith is also the advisor for the Business Leadership Club. Judith won the Margin of Excellence award from the college in 2007 signifying exemplary performance.

Dr. Judy Woo
Judy Woo

Judy teaches statistical analysis and business-related topics. On occasion, she has taught at the University of Washington in the area of organizational behavior and management. Her current interests include policy development and working with human resources to develop stronger programs to support culturally diverse adjunct faculty. She also chairs the Board of Cross Cultural Health Care Program in Seattle, a non-profit organization whose mission is to bridge access to health care for underserved, multicultural communities. She received her PhD from the University of Washington with an interdisciplinary focus on organizational behavior and development, health care services, research methodology and managerial accounting.
