
Our Associate in Business Degree Program
- Students in the Business Transfer Program can earn a two-year business degree (Associate in Business) and transfer to state public universities such as the Foster School at the University of Washington or the University of Washington Bothell to complete a bachelors degree in business.
- Our program has 1000 majors completing the first two years of their four-year business degree and an estimated 200 to 400 students considering the major..
- We are the largest Business Transfer Program in the state and we transfer the largest number of students to the Foster School at UW (ranked in the top 20 in the country). We offer the five business transfer courses (Acct& 201, 202, 203, BA 240-Statistics) and BA 200-Law) courses in our program in fall, winter, spring and summer quarters, day, evening and online.
- We have a dual enrollment program with the University of Washington, Bothell where students are admitted to the UW Bothell Business Program but complete their first two years at BCC.
- Students also have the option of completing their four-year management degree from Eastern Washington University right on our campus.
- We offer all our courses online fall, winter, spring and summer quarters and along with Washington State University make accessible an online business degree.
- Our alumni have transferred to the University of Washington (Seattle, Bothell and Tacoma), Washington State University, Seattle University, Western Washington University, Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, Stanford, Columbia, University of Arizona, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Southern California, Georgetown, McGill, University of Hawaii, University of Texas, Purdue, and others.
- We have over 15 faculty including eight certified accountants and five practicing lawyers, all with extensive industry experience. Our full-time faculty maintain contact with many of our students and continue to mentor and coach them for many years after they graduate.
- We offer an extensive career exploration activities to provide opportunities for our students to mount major events and network with executives and entrepreneurs. These activities give our students tremendous confidence and skills that cannot be learned in the classroom.
- We have a multicultural consulting course which gives our students high-level experience with real businesses and contributes to the economic development of minority- and women-owned businesses in the state of Washington
