Our Alumni
Faculty mentorship has played a major role in the success of our alumni and these examples are a case in point. Our student tutors (who represent our most engaged students) have been particularly diligent in maintaining contact with faculty who continue to mentor them past their time at BCC. Faculty mentors student tutors by using their network of connections to arrange internships and other activities that assist in career development. Our students have taken full advantage of these opportunities and used them as stepping stones to achievement. They have also been very generous in mentoring the students who follow behind them.
Our alumni have transferred to the University of Washington (Seattle and Bothell), Seattle University, Western Washington University, Central Washington University, Eastern Washington, Stanford, Columbia, University of Arizona, University of Nevada Las Vegas, USC, and others. Our current contingent of graduating students has committed to creating student blogs at UW-Seattle, UW-Bothell and Columbia University to let our students know how life will change when they reach their four-year institutions and other helpful advice for success. Our alumni include Angel Kelchev who went on to Stanford with a Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, but we are equally proud of all our alumni including the following:
