SOME LAST MINUTE ADVISING TIPS:

PAY NOW!  Tuition and fee payments are due by the first day of the quarter. If students register on or after the first day of the quarter, payment is due immediately.

STILL NEED A CLASS?  If you are unsure of what to take, and you have taken all your classes at BCC; use The Degree Audit http://bellevuecollege.edu/degreeaudit/  to see what coursework remains for your degree.  If you are transferring credits and have not seen an advisor, drop-in advising is available only the first days of the quarter in the Business Division and in the Advising Center for “quick” answers to last minute questions.

 HOW TO FIND OPEN CLASSES:

• ·        From “My Online Services” http://bellevuecollege.edu/services/, choose "Schedule Planner" https://wts.bcc.ctc.edu/splan/welcome.html.  This program tells you what's available in real time.  Block out times that you are unable to attend and use the “view course list” option to find the title of the class you need, such as ENGL& 101 or VIDEO 112.  A caution however, if a popular class like English, Math or core requirements in Business, for example, show one or two openings; it may mean that the class has a wait list*. As you search for classes, be aware of the following formats and/or location:  Online courses (hint: time listed as ARR); HYBRID  or partially online courses (hint: 5 credit courses that meet for an hour only one or two days a week); and courses offered at the North Campus (hint: located in W BLDG).

• ·        Also from the Online Services menu:  "Seat Availability" http://bellevuecollege.edu/schedule/search/.   For this choice you need to know the item number of the class you are checking.

• ·        Online Schedule:  http://bellevuecollege.edu/fallschedule/home/. Find the class you want to check and click on the item number to see availability.

*ARE YOU ON A WAIT LIST?

You have the option of placing yourself on a waitlist if the class is closed.  You cannot sign up for one class and be waitlisted on a different section of the same course, nor can you be waitlisted on two sections of the same course.  If you choose the waitlist option, check your registration information often.  Wait lists will remain active through the first three days of the quarter. Keep checking your registration screen to see if you have been added to the class and be prepared to pay any additional tuition immediately.  After the third day you must get a blue card from the instructor to be admitted.  Before they will issue blue cards, most instructors will insist that you be present from the first day of class and that you let them know your position on the wait list.

DO YOU NEED AN ENTRY CODE for a business course?  If you have not met the prerequisite at BCC, please bring your transcript showing the prerequisite to the Business Division front desk in A242.
