HEAD COACH
Kim Culliton enters her seventh year at the helm of the Bulldog volleyball team. The extremely talented 2009 team finished first in the Northern Region and fifth overall at the NWAACC Championship Tournament. The squad also produced the MVP of the Northern Region in libero Patti Reeves, and Culliton was awarded Coach of the Year. In previous years, the Bulldogs finished third in the league in 2006 and second in 2007 & 2008, qualifying for the NWAACC Championship Tournament each year. Kim is excited to improve upon her season in 2012 with an extremely strong recruiting class.
Kim spent the 2004-2005 seasons as head coach at Kent-Meridian High School; 2003 as assistant coach at Evergreen High School, and 2002 as assistant coach at Sumner High School. Since 2000, Kim has coached at various volleyball and basketball camps in the Sumner and Ellensburg areas. From 2002 to present, Kim has coached several club volleyball teams in the Sumner and Bellevue area, and continues to work camps and clinics. Kim is also Northwest Volleyball's Adult Program Director and Assistant Club Director for Northwest Volleyball. Kim is also heavily involved in the All Star Volleyball Academy based out of Yakima, WA where she helps hold successful camps each summer.
Kim grew up in Sumner, WA where she attended Sumner High School. She lettered in volleyball, basketball, and track. She qualified for the state tournament in track for the high jump and the 300 meter hurdles in 1996. Her 1996 basketball team took first in the South Puget Sound League (SPSL) and qualified for state for the first time in the school's history, as did her 1997 volleyball team, placing sixth in state the following year (1998).
Kim is a 2002 graduate of Central Washington University with a major in Public Relations and Business Administration. She played volleyball at CWU from 1998-2002 as a middle blocker, where she still holds several records including attack percentage, total blocks, and blocks per game. The Wildcats finished 3rd in 1999, 2nd in 2000, and 2nd in 2001, Culliton’s senior year, improving on a last place finish in 1998 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC). Kim won the Most Improved award her sophomore year (1999) and was a Team Captain in 2000 and 2001. Culliton and her husband, Bret, have been married since 2009.

Angela D'Amelio
ASSISTANT COACH
Angela returns for her third year as Kim’s assistant coach. Prior to coaching at BC, Angela played 2 years at Edmonds CC as a MB/OH. In her 2009 season, she was the team captain, received Player of the Week honors twice in the season, received second team All-Region and was a member of the Sophomore All-Star team, coached by Culliton.
Prior to playing in college, Angela attended Juanita High School, playing varsity volleyball for three years. She played club volleyball in 2006 & 2007 on Culliton’s club team as an OH/RS.
Angela has been coaching camps since 2008 and she has coached club volleyball in 2009 & 2010. She also volunteers her time with a Seattle Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) team. Angela has a daughter, Mia (2).
Jocelyn Lawrence
ASSISTANT COACH
This is Jocelyn’s second year coaching with the Bulldogs. A Kansas native, Lawrence (formerly Forshee) was director of fan relations for the Wichita Thunder (hockey), Assistant Coach at Halstead High School and Head Coach at Midwest Attach Volleyball Club.
Jocelyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wichita State University with a degree in Business Administration. Before WSU, Jocelyn played middle blocker at Bethel College in 2008 and at Heston College in 2006-2007. While at Heston, Forshee garnered several honors including the Game Plan/AVCA Team Academic Award, NJCAA Fall 2006 Academic Team-of-the-Year Award, NJCAA Fall 2007 Academic Team-of-the-Year Award, National Hitter of the week for the week of Oct. 3 2007, All-District First Team and All-American 2007.
Jocelyn and her husband Martin reside in Bellevue.
