Ian Parmley, recipient of the Harry Russell MVP Award at the NWAAC Championships last May, returns on the mound and in center field to lead Bellevue in defense of their second NWAACC title in three years.

BCC Baseball has been ranked as a top team in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years. The past few years have been no exception as the team captured the 2007 NWAACC Championship after being ranked #1 in the NWAACC top 8 Coaches' Poll for most of the season. The squad also finished with a national ranking of 18th; putting Bellevue within the same group of other national powerhouses.

A strong reputation precedes the BCC baseball program. With several league titles to its name, a high number of winning teams, and top-notch facilities, it's no surprise that BCC baseball athletes consistently receive scholarships to 4-year colleges and universities.

Take a look at our track record:

  • In the last decade, Bellevue has had 38 players drafted in professional baseball; one of the highest numbers of 2-year colleges in the nation
  • BCC Baseball has not had a losing season in over 27 years
  • BCC Baseball has one of the top graduation rates in all of northwest community college athletics
  • Since it's early beginnings in 1970, BCC Baseball has captured 3 NWAACC titles (1973, 1979, 2007) and 18 region titles, including this past spring.
  • In 1999, Bellevue had more players selected in the professional
baseball draft than any other two-year college in the nation.
  • BCC has also sent an average of nine players each year onto the
four-year level for higher academic and athletic opportunities.
Courter Field

BCC takes pride in offering top-notch facilities such as Courter Field, one of the best playing fields in the region. These accomplishments set BCC Baseball apart from other colleges and offers a positive, rewarding experience and many opportunities for building athletic talent.
