Max Brown makes New Zealand National Team for World Baseball Classic Qualifier

Bellevue College's Max Brown was recently named to the provisional roster for the New Zealand National Team which will try to qualify for the World Baseball Classic (WBC) in March. The WBC is similar in nature to the Olympics, which feature the top players, professional or amateur, who represent their home country. Past players in the World Baseball Classic include Ichiro, Derek Jeter, Felix Hernandez among many other prominent Major Leaguers.
