Twenty Scouts On Hand For Scout Day

Bellevue College baseball held their annual scout day on Tuesday Sept. 20 and drew professional scouts from 16 different organizations, including a national cross-checker, in addition to four NCAA division I college coaches. Max Brown had the fastest 60 time while several of the scouts acknowledged stellar pitching outings by Matt Cooper, Adrian Sampson, Bryan Burgher, Jeff Gonzales, and Scott Kuzminsky. Ten home runs were hit during the batting practice; and early indication that the 2012 Bulldog hitters are in good position to repeat the record-shattering year of the 2011 club which popped out 55 home runs over the course of the season.
